Zoho Writer Collaboration_comments

1. Explain the assignment:
The assignment today was to try new collaborative software, called Zoho. Our team used the Zoho writer, to create a student related activity.
2. How easy or difficult was hte project?
Basically the writer is like the word perfect, but we were able to share the writing, taking turns to post the next lines in the story. We just started out with a typical story that any child might know, and each of us took a turn to write our version of the events that might have occured in the story. It was fun to see and share, the writing as we went along. It was not htat easy though, we had alot of obsticles.
3. how would my students benefit from this project?
I think I would use this tool, in the classroom for the same kind of idea, to have the students collaborate on a story, each adding their own ideas.
4. How would I rate the software, on a scale of 1-10?
I rate the software a 5. Compared to bubbl software, we did more collaborating. I initiated the story, and shared with Connie and Rose. They could edit, and see and share their pieces, but to view the new documant I would have to sign off, and log on again. So it was not a continuous process, for me.
